Honey and the Bee: Owl City

Dear Vienna -Owl City

So I kinda stole this form @hungergames44 sorry :\ But I’m bored and I LOVE talking about music…so…yeah. I love music more than anything, it’s just soo amazing. My top 3 favorite ALL TIME bands are: Owl City, Plain White T’s, and Addison Road. I like male voices, but the girl lead singer in Addison Road has the most beautiful voice. I love PWT’s Album: Wonders of the Younger, and virtually every song by Owl city I’ve fallen in Love with, (except I do believe he could have done MUCH better on his last album) So I’m going to do them all right now, just because. Because I’m too lazy to make a set everyday :P

Day 1: A song from my childhood: All my Loving-The Beatles
I actually had LOTS of songs form my childhood, but this was always my favorite. We have TAPE AFTER TAPE of me and my sister dancing to the Beatles, I wanna Hold your Hand, Penny Lane, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds etc etc. Back when she was six and I was only 3. (back when we could actually dance…I guess when I mean dance, I mean walk around in circles and wave your arms) But we also listened to Joe Jackson, Betsy Q and Barney. (Opples and banonoos)
 

Day 2: A Song that reminds you of your most recent ex-boyfriend/girlfriend: If this was a movie: Taylor Swift
Considering I’ve NEVER had a boyfriend… so I don’t really know. But I’d figure I would sing this because as soon as we would break up I would realize that I would probably NEVER have another boyfriend in my life, and I would be all like: PLEASE COME BACK.
 

Day 3: A song that reminds you of one/both of your parents: Joe Jackson
My dad likes Joe Jackson, but I can’t really pick out a particular song, but if I had to do a song to describe my mom and dad with a song then it would “Happy Loving Couples” by Joe Jackson. And you would have to know the lyrics to understand what I’m saying, (cause it’s pretty much the opposite of the title)
 

Day 4: A song that calms you down: Air Traffic- Owl City
Almost any Owl City song calms me down, but this one the most. It’s a very relaxing song, and pretty short too. I love the tune in it.
 
Day 5: A song that gets stuck in your head: Call Me Maybe: Carly Rae Jepson
And I’m not saying it’s a good thing. That song is soooo annoying! Cause your all like: Hey, this has a pretty good beat…its kinda cool… 3 hours later. GET OUT OF MY HEAD. SO I stopped listening to it. But ITS ALL OVER THE RADIO. ALL. THE.TIME.
 
Day 6: A song that reminds you of a best friend: Dental Care-Owl City
@hungergames44 This is pretty much: “Our song” :D Enough said.
 
Day 7: A song that reminds you of the past summer: To the Sky: Owl City
So, this is a weird reason. But when I think of this past summer I think of Busch Gardens, and there whenever I rode the Swings the song “To the Sky” always played itself in my head, because I felt like I was flying, so well, yeah. That’s why.
 
Day 8: A song that reminds you of your “first love”: Rock Star-Miley Cyrus
I had a crush on this guy in 3rd grade. And at that time, “Rock Star” was really popular, so I memorized all the words and I loved that song so much. So I always imagined myself singing it to him 0_0 I know I’M SO AWKWARD.
 
Day 9: A song that makes you hopeful: All that Matters: Addison Road
I love this song because that’s who I want to be. And that’s how I live by. So its makes me hopeful.
 
Day 10: A song from your favorite band: Wonders of the Younger-Plain White T’s
So my favorite Singer is Owl City (Adam Young) but I don’t know if you would call him “a band” so my favorite “band” is Plain White T’s, and one of my favorite songs is “Wonders of the Younger”
 
Day 11: A song on the soundtrack of your favorite movie: If I didn’t have you: Monsters Inc.
My favorite Movie is: MONSTERS INC. So during the credits it’s this song :D
 
Day 12: The last song you heard: Body Parts: Plain White T’s
My favorite of Plain White T’s. Such a beautiful song!
 
Day 13: A song that reminds you of a former friend: ???
I mean, I’ve got some former friends. But a song for that? Let me think…. I guess You’ll be in My Heart form Tarzan???? I’m not really sure….
 
Day 14: A song that reminds me of you boyfriend/girlfriend: Invisible-Skylar grey
Oh yeah. I’m cool. See what I did there???
 
Day 15: A song you love singing along to: Hakuna Matata- Timon and Pumba
I have to sing along every time I hear it. It helps me feel better.
 
Day 16: A song that makes you cry: Vanilla Twilight-Owl City
Such a beautiful song. Hands down, the lyrics make me bawl.
 
Day 17:A song that makes you want to dance: You should be Dancing-Despicable Me
I don’t the real artist of that song. But yeah, it’s telling me to dance. So I dance. Unless of course I’m listening to it in public. Then, no. But another song is “When can we do this Again” –Owl City. I haven’t seen Wreck It Ralph, I just love the song.
 
Day 18: A song you love but rarely listen to: HA.
If I love a song then I LISTEN TO IT AND I LISTEN TO IT AND I LISTEN TO IT AND I LISTEN TO IT AND I LISTEN TO IT AND I LISTEN TO IT AND I LISTEN TO IT AND LISTEN TO IT. I don’t just go: I LOVE THIS SONG. Okay next song. NOPE. NOT ME.
 
Day 19: The first song alphabetically in your iPod iTunes: The a team- Ed sheeran
Which I have no clue what that song is. Me and my sister share a playlist on the computer. So when I sync I just sync everything so all her songs go on there too. So okay.
 
Day 20: The last song alphabetically in your iPod iTunes: Your Love: Brandon Heath
Well this is actually my song! I used to be in love with this song.
 
Day 21: Your Favorite Song: Fuzzy Blue Lights: Owl City
You’re killing me right now. I have too many favorite songs. But it all goes down to one. And that one is Fuzzy and Blue. I absolutely ADORE this song. It’s so calming, so beautiful, its been my favorite for a while. The best thing is the lyrics never even mention the words: fuzzy blue lights. And that’s why I love Adam Young. Still, I could be mentioning SO MANY MORE SONGS RIGHT NOW. But I’ll hold myself back.
 
Day 22: A song someone has sung to you: Daisy, Daisy- a nursery rhyme
My dad used to sing this to me all the time.
 
Day 23: A song you cannot stand to listen to: That’s what makes you beautiful-One Direction
Sorry. I don’t have time to scroll through all my songs going…”WHAT SONG CAN I NOT STAND?” So the first song that popped in my head was this.
 
Day 24: A song that you have danced to with your best friend: Party Rock Anthem-LMFAO
I am extremely embarrassing when I dance with people. But the only time was when me and @hungergames44 made a video to this song…and she looked amazing and I LOOK HORRIFYING. But at least now she knows that if I ever tell her I’m going to be on Dancing with the Stars she can laugh in my face ;) Also we tried to do To the Sky too and I ended up failing to catch her in “trust fall” and got a terrible bruise on my back because I landed on a very sharp edge of the table 0_0 good times. Good times. 0_0
 
Day 25: A song you could listen to all day without getting tired of: (read below)
I love music. But I could probably never listen to a song ALLL DAY. Because then I would hate that song. And I don’t want to hate a song. Because after the 10th time of hearing it, I would have it memorized…so maybe….I would pick a song in DIFFERENT LANGUAGE. Then I would memorize that language 0_0 YES. That’s my answer.
